From the moment Hulk Hogan did his last segment of TNA television the world has been speculating when he would come back to the WWE. It is now believed that biggest star from the biggest company is coming home. According to various outlets it has been confirmed that Hogan will be at Wrestlemania 30. The man who headlined basically the first 7 big events will be involved when the showcase of the immortals takes place in the Big Easy.
One of the great ideas that I have heard is some kind of program between Hogan and Rowdy Roddy Piper. The two men who sold the tickets for Wrestlemania 1 could put together something interesting on the 30th Anniversary. The idea would be to craft an interesting story and let two members of the current roster act out most of the story in the ring. Both Piper and Hogan have some physical limits but still could put together some believable in ring action in short spurts.
What I don’t think you necessarily need is a heel versus face dynamic. Both competitors have their fans and just need wrestlers who can complement their images. I would probably go with some young and up and coming guys on the roster. I have heard names like John Cena and CM Punk thrown around but I can think of much more interesting storylines that would involve both of those performers. No matter how it all happens it will be good to see Hulkamania run wild in New Orleans.
