After last Monday night’s emotional goodbye fans are wondering if they have seen the last of Triple H as an in ring performer. The answer is a little more of yes and no. He will never be a full time wrestler again and he shouldn’t be at his age. Its time for Hunter to concentrate on building the WWF for the future.
That being said his last match will not against Brock Lesnar at a throw away PPV. Triple H wants to go out against a more legendary opponent at a Wrestlemania. The Undertaker has been utilized in the last 2 big events so he is out. Possibly The Rock or HBK would be choices due to his history with both opponents. They also provide the fan interest that could get this match in the main event.
Where does HHH rank in wrestling history? That can be debated by the scholars of the sport. For the sake of this comparison I will use a basketball analogy. If Stone Cold = Michael Jordan or Hulk Hogan = Dr J then Triple H is somewhere around Charles Barkley or Karl Malone. He is a legend but not the greatest of all time.
