One of the things that I don’t get to say often was that I was excited watching the Diva’s segment on last night’s RAW. One of the common jokes is that the Bella television time is the bathroom break for a lot fans. Tonight the game has changed as the division got injected with some new blood that the Universe has been waiting for. The NXT Champ Sasha Banks, Charlotte and Becky Lynch made their RAW debuts in one of the best segments that women’s wrestling has had in a long time.
During what was thought to be in for another snoozer Bella promo until the Queen of WWE Stephanie McMahon breathed new life into the situation. Putting the twin sisters on notice that things are ab out to change within the ranks of ladies in the company. The surprise entrance was that of the first NXT woman down the ramp Becky Lynch. It was assumed that it was a matter of time that Banks and Charlotte were coming up to the main roster. I actually felt like the daughter of the Nature Boy should have been up a long time ago but this introduction may have been exactly what she needed to get things off to a good start.
Now it’s no secret that the NXT ladies tend to wrestle a different style than their main roster counterparts. That being said the main roster has been working longer matches and the wrestling has gotten better over recent months. I have to give Nikki Bella a lot of credit on the work she has done but still not the excitement that the women bring down at Full Sail. It will be interesting to see how these competitors shake up the roster going forward.
