CHIKARA’s massive King of Trios tournament arrives at The Palmer Center in Easton, PA on September 19th! The biggest tournament in all of professional wrestling – bursting with 48 competitors in all – is the also CHIKARA’s biggest event of the year, and 2014 will be no different!
All the teams entered into the tournament have been announced! This year’s teams include: the reuniting Spirit Squad, The Spectral Envoy, Team UK, The Colony, The Devastation Corporation, 3peck0, GEKIDO, The Golden Trio, BDK3, KE4TPG, Team Extravaganza, and The Odditorium! And this week, the following Trios were revealed:
Mr. Azerbaijan, The Proletariat Boar of Moldova, and Prakash Sabar are no longer under the rule of The Polar Baron and now The Bloc Party wants to write their own history, starting by winning King of Trios!
Volgar, Jimmy Jacobs, and Eddie Kingston, The Flood, are out to create chaos and carnage any way they can! Jacobs and his acolytes will do whatever it takes crush CHIKARA and win KOT!
Orbit Adventure Ant, Missile Assault Ant, and Arctic Rescue Ant were crowned 2011 King of Trios by our former Director of Fun, Wink Vavasseur, but this year, can The Colony: Xtreme Force earn the KOT medals?
Chavo Guerrero, Jr., Homicide, and Hernandez will unite for the first time as a team and this version of LAX came together specifically to prove their dominance and take over King of Trios!
As CHIKARA’s Senior Official Bryce Remsburg mentioned in this week’s King of Trios Report, Fan Conclave will return this year and take place on Saturday, September 20th, starting at 2 p.m.!
King of Trios will take place on September 19th, 20th, and 21st! It will not be offered on iPay-Per-View, so if you want to experience The Big One, you’ll have to join us live in Easton!
