Lately the Ring Time staff has taken the time to watch a lot of NXT. The official training ground for the future WWE superstars. I applaud the company of not having the reality show format anymore and just running NXT as a developmental brand. Since I have been watching I am seeing some familiar faces from the independent scene that I think are ready to add some spice to the main roster. So here is a short list of 3 men right now that I would like to see on RAW or Smackdown very soon.
Sami Zyn
I am sure a lot of fans would love to one Sami Zyn take his act to the main roster. Also known to Ring of Honor fans as El Generico he has been able to capture the fans attention down in Florida. He has not lost any of his personality with the character change that the WWE usually applies to indie guys. I think he would make a nice baby face mid card performer challenging for the United States or Intercontinental championships.
Xavier Woods
It’s probably no secret in the wrestling world that Xavier Woods will be coming up soon. His situation is not a matter of if but when. He will bring a very interesting element to the main roster. Some fans may remember Woods from his time in TNA as Consequences Creed. Being Xavier is a big change of character but still a very fan friendly competitor. His intelligence will definitely be used as an asset and maybe used a lot outside of the ring as well as inside. Woods is actually working on his PhD, so he maybe Dr Xavier Woods by the time he introduces himself to the world.
Kassius Ohno
You may remember Kassius Ohno from his indie days as Chris Hero. Out of the up and coming group this young has the potential to be in the main event. He has some great ring psychology and proved that he can mix it up with some of the best already. Ohno is coming off a nice showing against the Wyatt’s Luke Harper on the most recent episode of NXT. He has been trained the right way and names like Dory Funk Jr, Tracy Smothers and William Regal all took part in his development. Can’t wait to see Ohno on RAW or Smackdown mixing it up.
