The WWE has kicked off its long awaited Total Divas reality show. The E! Network is putting on the show which a lot fans thought would be one of the first WWE Network shows. For the time being we have to get our reality wrestling on another channel. The E! Network is a good landing spot for the show considering it gives the show a good chance at picking up a crossover audience. Following the Kardashian’s cannot hurt either.
The show takes a backstage look at what it is like for seven of the women in the Diva’s division. The show largely concentrates on the Bella Twins (Nikki and Brie) and the Funkadactyls (Naomi and Cameron or Trinity and Arianne). We get an intimate look at their personal lives and how they balance them with work in the company.
The other three divas on the show are veteran Natalya Neidhart and the new blood Eva Marie and JoJo. The first episode sets up with everybody getting to know each other and the set-up for Wrestlemania. We are three episodes in and so far so good. The ladies have interesting lives that will transcend wrestling and bring in lots of outside viewers. So I will be on E! every Sunday night seeing what’s going on.
