This upcoming Sunday the WWE will hold its annual Night of Champions PPV. Birthed out of the Vengeance event, that started in 2002 and was rebranded Vengeance: Night of Champions in 2007. Ever since 2008 the show was named strictly Night of Champions. The premise was that every title in the company was supposed to be on the line. Although having a very short history this show has produced some very good matches in WWE history. We here at Ring Time Pro Wrestling decided to share some of our favorites.
6 Pack Challenge Match 2010 – WWE Title / Sheamus(c) vs John Cena vs Edge vs Chris Jericho vs Randy Orton vs Wade Barrett

In 2010 there was a 6 pack challenge match for the WWE Championship. Sheamus was the champion at the time and had a few guys in hot pursuit. Out of his 5 challengers 4 were former world champions. This was not going to be an easy task for the Celtic Warrior. Does he leave with gold in hand?

WWE Championship 2012 – CM Punk(c) w/ Paul Heyman vs John Cena

CM Punk was out to prove he was the best in the World. He was the current WWE Champion but was not getting what he thought was the respect he deserved. He enlisted one of the people who always believed in him in Paul Heyman to help him out. Punk was set to face the standard bearer of the WWE John Cena. Let’s see how it turns out.

World Heavyweight Championship 2009– CM Punk(c) vs Jeff Hardy

Jeff Hardy was looking to gain back the World Heavyweight Title that he worked so hard for. CM Punk was fresh off his second Money In The Bank cash-in and wanted to hold this title a little longer. This was probably the feud of the year in 2009 and Jeff Hardy may have been the most popular man in wrestling at the time. Let’s see how this match plays out.

WWE Championship 2009 – Randy Orton(c) vs Triple H vs John Cena

This main event features three of the biggest champions of the new millennium. Randy Orton defends his title against Triple H and John Cena. Both challengers have their issues with Randy Orton and not only want the belt but they want revenge. Will they let their rage get in the way of their title aspirations?
