It really surprises me that I haven’t suggested that everybody check out the bio of Jake “The Snake” Roberts before. I guess it’s kind of on time since he is getting inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame this year. Jake is one of the most creative and innovative performers that has ever been in the wrestling business. “Pick Your Poison” is a great look at the man who carried the 70 pound snake around.

The film takes an in-depth look at Roberts all the way from childhood to his rise in sports entertainment. Jake had a childhood that was troubled at best. Through all of that he followed in his father’s footsteps to the world or wrestling and became one of the biggest stars in the business. We get to see what went on behind the scenes with his legendary feuds with the likes of The Macho Man, Ricky Steamboat and Rick Rude.

We also get to see the fall of Jake Roberts during this DVD also. Jake is honest about his troubles outside of the squared circle. We also get some insight on his part in the legendary wrestling documentary Beyond The Mat. Jake is an interesting person and this film give real insight into how the man was made.
