Today the Ring Time DVD suggestion takes a look at the fantastic big men that have been in professional wrestling. This week’s suggestion doesn’t necessarily require to have the disc since it’s on the WWE Network but definitely one to get if want to see the bonus matches that come physical copy. If you haven’t ventured to the Beyond The Ring section please do and check out WWE Presents “True Giants”. It is one of their most recent additions to the biography library on the network.
We get a look at the fantastic and not so spectacular careers of big men who have patrolled the squared circle. Anybody who is anybody that was hit the super heavyweight category is on this video. The profile portion is bookend by the most recognizable big men of all time The Big Show and Andre The Giant. In middle are every conceivable larger than life athlete that you can think of. Younger fans will get a treat learning about guys like Big John Studd, The One Man Gang and Ernie Ladd.
Guys that may not fit your definition as Giants are also featured in this presentation. Talents like Vader, Mark Henry and Earthquake get profiled during this piece. They may not be 7 footers but fans get an understanding why are a part of this larger than life showcase. It is good for fans who want to take a trip down memory lane and get familiar with some names that they did not know or may have even forgotten.
