This Saturday I had the pleasure of enjoying some good Indy Wrestling in the wonderful state of Georgia. I stopped by the Universal Independent Wrestling show in Carrollton, GA. This one of the better wrestling shows that I have had the pleasure of attending this year. It had a TLC match and a 6 man tag team steel cage match, what more could you ask for?
Personal highlights for me were that I got see the Washington Bullets who are hands down the best tag team in Georgia. They come to play at any show I have seen them at whether it is at Progressive, PCW or Anarchy they are always worth price of admission. For the 4th Annual Halloween Massacre, UIW brought in Devon Dudley aka Brother Devon of Team 3D aka The Dudley Boyz. He came ready to play and we got see that familiar site of Devon getting the table. Match of the night may have been the 3 way TLC match for the United States Heavyweight title.
Josh Storm defended his title against Stupid and Frankie Valentine. The crowd was really into the match early and seemed to be strongly behind Valentine. The match was bloody and we got to see the tables, ladders and chairs. The fans were one of the best parts of the show and were into to it all night. The UIW definitely provides a fan friendly experience and lots of interaction with the crowd. This promotion is one to watch and Ring Time Pro Wrestling will be back to see much more.
