The WWE has become the keepers of wrestling history from all of the territory days. Their most current DVD release is one the best they have done. The Top 25 Rivalries In Wrestling History DVD is an amazing work that covers some of the greatest feuds in the history of the business. It is not limited to WWF but covers, WCW, ECW, AWA and even events from World Class Championship Wrestling. You may dispute the order of the list but I cannot argue that all have a place in the history books.
I was very surprised to see faces like Shane Douglas and Vince Russo on commentary for this production. The video serves as a great nostalgia piece for fans to remember some of their favorite moments. It also makes a great education piece to learn about matches and wrestlers that fans may not be familiar with. Guys like Bruiser Brody, Nick Bockwinkel or Sabu may not be at the tip of the tongue of today’s fans. Also gives you an insight of the impact some of these feuds had and how they influenced some of today’s superstars. Definitely a must have in any fan’s library.
