Birthed out of the ECW One Night Stand PPV series the WWE will be presenting Extreme Rules in about 2 weeks. This year it is the 1st post Wrestlemania PPV event for the company. It is a night when the superstars take the brutality up a notch. Here at Ring Time we share some of our favorite matches from this event.
WWE Champion CM Punk vs Chris Jericho / Chicago Street Fight
One of the highlights of last years Extreme Rules was the feud between Chris Jericho and CM Punk. It got real personal and the only way to settle it was a Chicago Street Fight.
Jeff Hardy vs Edge – World Heavyweight Champion / Ladder Match
You get Jeff Hardy and Edge and breakout the ladders and of course you will have awesomeness. Both wrestlers brought their A game and at the end there is a little surprise.
John Cena vs Brock Lensar / Extreme Rules 2012
After losing a heartbreaking match to The Rock at Wrestlemania 28, John Cena had little time to rest before the next challenge presented itself. That challenge was Brock Lesnar. After leaving the UFC the former champion had been kind of quiet. Upon returning to the WWE he decided go right to the top of the food chain. This match is pretty brutal.
